Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain computer testing room(s)
- Prepare room in advance of scheduled exams
- Monitor computers; assure operational status; troubleshoot common problems
- Restore testing area to its previous arrangement prior to exiting following exams
- Manage test scheduling and related procedures
- Apply technical knowledge and skills for problem solving, trouble shooting and continuous improvement of process and procedures related to delivery of the online nursing program
- Develop exam schedule
- Proctor computer-based exams
- Validate appropriate identification as necessary for admission to exam
- Help students log in to necessary exam
- Troubleshoot testing issues as necessary
- Monitor exam process and progress
- Enforce all rules and regulations as necessary
- Follow established protocol for integrity breaches
- Provide technical assistance
- Maintain and update knowledge of current operating technology
- Provide administrative support
- Perform various tasks, assignments, and projects as directed by site and nursing administration
- Perform additional duties as requested by nursing faculty
- Maintain and manage individual and group scheduling and calendars
- Manage phone calls, both incoming and outgoing
- Perform inventory control and purchase supplies and equipment for site
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, internet and email
- Must be able to collaborate well with others
- Self-directed personality with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities on a daily basis
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively; ability to learn quickly
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols
- Ability to maintain a controlled environment when computer and exam issues occur
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must be prompt and have a sense of time limits
Experience
- Experience with MS Office software and Windows environments
- Experience in a higher education environment is strongly preferred, but not required
- Experience with Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is strongly preferred, but not required
Education/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
