*This position is a hybrid remote/in office role. Preference is to work in person Monday and Wednesday (days flexible) in the corporate office located near 465 and Meridian on the north side of Indianapolis.

The Communications and Office Coordinator will be a vital member of the Communications and Information department for Orbis and assist in supporting the operations at the corporate office. This newly created opportunity is needed to evolve the communication infrastructure of the company for continued growth. She/he will have a broad base of touch points in the organization that impact content creation, communication releases (internal and external), employee engagement, supply procurement and various support activities for the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building a sustainable and scalable communication plan with the Director
  • Leads or consults on communication plans that drive awareness, understanding and adoption of key initiatives
  • Creates and improves communication activity maps and templates for leaders to communicate clearly with their people
  • Tracks communication results and influence the team and your business partners to apply key learnings in order to improve future programs
  • Contribute to development of marketing copy for ads and sales collateral
  • Coordinate schedules and data within social media channels
  • Subject matter expert for Orbis Intranet to ensure timely updates on internal information
  • Adept at communicating complex information that is easily consumed
  • Collaborate with content designers to produce attractive and effective communication materials
  • Ensure corporate office remains stocked with appropriate supplies for team needs
  • Distribute and/or communicate delivery of supplies or equipment to relevant team members
  • Participates in day-to-day operations activities, general administration and special projects of the company

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of customer service, communications, sales or marketing experience
  • Entrepreneurial aptitude in the start-up and growth of an organization
  • High-level written and oral communication skills to accurately present information persuasively, professionally and accurately to groups of people
  • Positive attitude with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Strong aptitude to work in collaborative environment and implement processes
  • Self-directed, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of general governance processes, policies, and compliance
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
